Materials and handling
Pinnacle Metals handles Copper, Aluminium, Brass, Lead, Steel, Iron, and Stainless Steel at its fixed yard, with collection available across the UK and Ireland.

These non-ferrous categories are identified and assessed by material type and condition. Keeping different metals separate where practical makes the load easier to present and assess.

Steel and iron form the core ferrous categories. Stainless Steel is also iron based, but its alloy content means it should remain a clearly named category rather than being folded into ordinary steel.
Specific grades, unusual condition, contamination, mixed loads, or material still attached to another item can affect handling. Straightforward loads in the named categories do not need a separate material check. For an exception, provide a clear description before moving the material.
A short, useful description includes:
An exact grade is not essential at the first step. Start with what the material is, how much there is, and its condition.
At the yard, material is presented and assessed, weighed onsite, unloaded and separated as applicable, then processed responsibly for recycling. The same operating stages apply after a collection is arranged.
Bring material to the fixed yard during the published opening hours. The Contact page has the address and visit details.
Plan a yard visitFor a collection enquiry, share the materials, approximate quantity, location, and access details. Suitable regular or volume loads can also be discussed through our Commercial Services page.

The right route depends on the material, approximate quantity, location, and access.
