Scrap metal collection
Arrange collection, then follow the load through recycling
Tell us what material you have, the approximate quantity, where it is, and what access is like. The service operates across the UK and Ireland, and every agreed load continues through handling, weighing, recycling, and payment.
One route for collected scrap metal
One clear service covers individual collection enquiries, business collections, and volume loads. Businesses with recurring needs can use the dedicated Commercial Services page.
What helps us assess a collection
Share the practical details of the load:
With those details, the team can assess the request and explain the next step. The collection location, access, and load details are agreed for each job.
- the material or materials
- the approximate quantity
- the collection address or postcode
- relevant access details
- whether the need is one-off or regular
- any unusual condition, contamination, or attached material
The enquiry arranges the collection; it does not replace the process
A concise load description provides the information needed to assess the request. Once collection is agreed, the material still needs to be presented and assessed, weighed, unloaded and separated as applicable, processed responsibly, and paid for.
From collection arrangement to payment
Arrange the collection
Share the material, approximate quantity, location, and access details. The team will use those details to agree the next step for the load.
Present and assess the material
Make the agreed material available for collection. The load is checked against the information provided and assessed by type and condition.
Weigh the material
Collected material enters the same onsite weighing process used for yard loads.
Unload and separate
The load is unloaded and different material streams are separated where applicable.
Process it responsibly
The separated material is processed responsibly for recycling.
Complete payment
Once the material is processed, payment is made the same day.
